Problem Solving Assessment test also known as PSA Test has been announced by CBSE (Central board of secondary education) which is supposed to be as “mandatory” so its really important for the CBSE students of class 9th and class 11th. Now, as per CBSE there is no specific syllabus for the PSA test as its going to assess the life skills.
Some details about the Problem Solving Assessment Test (PSA Test) :-
It has been announced by CBSE that the PSA test will be focusing on three different fields :-
- quantitative reasoning :- This part is going to include the reasings you see the people around you, your social life and the subject social science will be included.
- qualitative reasoning :- This part will include Mathematics and Science i.e you need to study about the reasonings seen in those subjects.
- language conventions:- Now, this part will be containing the material to test your communication skills, written skills, grammer skills and vocabulary power.
The marks scored in this PSA test will be counted towards your FA-4 which is 10% of your academic year, now class 9th students will get a chance to improve their PSA as they can sit again in class 10th with class 9th students, and the score will be reflected at the end of the year. PSA test for class 11th students will reflect the marks at the end of their board exams.
